The hobby of beading has grown in popularity over the past few years. It is theraputic, relaxing and a lot of fun, with more people young and old wanting to join in the fun. The beading supply industry has grown ever since supplying people with an array of different, exotic bead ideas and kits to choose from on the web. It can be confusing to choose the right designs; that fits your particular taste. Below are a few bead designs, which I recommend for the true bead-lover or novice in search of that perfect new idea.

Designed by Jen D. This kit comes with easy instructions. Seed bead are included. You first carefully straighten out the head pins if necessary. Place your beads on each head pin. Hematine bead, delica seed bead, light purple pearl, delica seed bead, blue pearl, delica seed bead. Using wire cutters, cut off the excess head pin leaving approximately 3/16". Using a flat nose pliers, bend the 3/16" piece of wire 90 degrees. Carefully bend the 3/16" piece of wire into a loop, but don't' close it tight. Insert your ear wire into the loop on your head pin and now close tightly so there are no gaps.

Carefully straighten out the head pin if necessary. Add your beads and other components. Trim off the excess wire with wire cutters and leave about 3/8' of the wire left. Using your, bend the extra wire 90 degrees to the side. Bend your wire to form a loop. Stop before you get your beads. Insert your ear wire into the loop Finish up by bending the wire into a full loop. The wire should bend all the way down to the beads. Close tightly. If you make a mistake just unbend the wire and start all over again.
Tips For A Good Earring Design
Try to use larger more vibrant beads near the bottom of your earrings. Big beads on top make your earrings look visually heavy and cool looking. Try to repeat at least one color in each pair of earrings to help unify the design.
