The Bible in Everyday Language

Western culture has undoubtedly been influenced by the Judeo-Christian tradition.  Many great works of art, literature, and music draw on themes and images from the Bible.  Less apparent to many English speakers are the biblical words and phrases which are folded into everyday language.  Review this partial list with citations.  How many of them do you use?
