Some people think they know all about Disneyland.
They’ve been on the railroad and the monorail, gone to Space Mountain, seen
Dumbo and Alice, Peter Pan and Pinocchio, the Seven Dwarves and of course,
Minnie and Mickey.
But there’s much more to Disneyland than all
that—it’s a dynamic place with constantly changing attractions. Here are a few
to try out on your next trip:
Magical Milestone: A Pin Celebration
In the summer months, between June 24th and August 14th, Disneyland
will pay tribute to 50 wonderful years as part of their Happiest Homecoming on
Earth celebration. A special lanyard and many new attractive pins have been
issued, some of them limited editions (a new one issued every other Sunday for
the collectors out there). They are limited to 2000 of each kind, and are sold
for $10.95 each plus tax.
Fantasmic!
With a cast of over 50 performers (and more than 150 workers in all), this
is one of the most amazing shows Disney has ever produced. For 22 minutes,
viewers are transported to a world of their favorite characters (and a few new
ones). It’s an incredible light and sound spectacular that’ll make viewers feel
transported to a new world:

Turtle Talk with Crush
Want to have a chat with arguably the coolest character in Finding Nemo?
This attraction allows you to engage in real-time chat conversations with
Crush, who jokes with you and even recognizes some regular visitors! This is
not a tape that is played and replayed; Crush’s dialogue, movements, speech and
reactions are unique to each audience through real-time animation.
Disneyland's normal hours of operation are 10 AM to 8 PM weekdays , 9AM to midnight on
Saturdays and 9:00am to 9:00pm on Sundays.
