'Get Paid To' Programs

by Jasalynn Krissieanna September 04, 2005

There are so many "get paid to" programs out there that it's ridiculous. You have your basic program, which is the "get paid to read emails".

Then inside of those you have the get paid to click and get paid to sign up.

I jumped in to all of those programs before taking the time to research them. I wish I would have looked deeper into it before I had wasted a month of my life in them. I know a month don't seem like a lot but 16-18 hours a day. That's a lot.

Get paid to read email is basically you read the email and click the link inside the email. Once you click the link it takes you to another page and you have to wait 10 - 60 seconds for that page to verify that you were there. It is the same way with the get paid to click deal. You click a banner and you wait 10 - 60 seconds for that page to verify you were there.

The emails pile up quickly...

Each email is worth a certain amount of money. Some sites pay you with points and convert it to money at the end of the month. The conversion is based on how much they made for the month. Some sites send out allot of emails a day and some only send out 5 at the most. Now if you're just starting out you're all excited about the many emails you are getting. But when your Email account gets full of mail and you can't read quick enough to catch up, it gets very frustrating.

You start getting all these emails and you're clicking away. You're all excited because you're making money and it's an easy way. But stop and take the time to calculate how many emails you clicked on and how much time you spent clicking on it and look at your total. It's NOT worth it. I joined about 10 sites. I was all excited and was spending 16 - 18 hours a day clicking on emails and banners. I made myself literally sick staying on the computer so much. One day I stopped and counted the hours, emails, and money for that day. That was the last day I ever signed into another program. I had spent right at 16 hours that day on 7 different sites. I had over 100 emails and clicked a lot of banners and only made 37 cents. Now while I was clicking I thought I was rolling the money in. But when I added it all up, I rolled in 37 cents for one day.

The Catch

The trick is they pay you like .001 cent for each email. It takes a lot of them emails to make one penny. That is what you have to watch out for. There are a couple of good get paid to read programs, like Inbox Dollars and Send Earnings. Those other ones are nothing but a rip off. One good thing can come out of get paid to read programs and that is advertising your own site. You make so much money or earn so much points and you can turn around and spend that money in advertising your own site.

Be careful with these programs. There are a many of them that don't pay. You almost reach or reach your payout and they vanish into thin air or they just don't pay. So your time is wasted. There are allot more things out there that you can make money doing. Don't waste your time on these get paid to programs.
