Even though the mail has been sorted, there are still things that are left to do. You just don’t need to do them immediately.
Set up a schedule that you’re comfortable with for dealing with your now-organized papers. If you pick one day a week, say a Monday, to pay bills, and you stick to it every week, you won’t fall behind.
Same thing with magazines and other reading material -- go through your pile one day every week and throw out old issues when you’re done reading them or when new ones have come in. If you consistently find that you haven’t finished reading the things in your pile, consider getting fewer subscriptions.
Non-urgent filing can be done whenever you get a chance, or depending on your volume, even as infrequently as once a month.
