Specific items can spice things up in your love life considerably. If you are already in a relationship, Feng Shui can help make it even better. And if you’re not in a relationship, Feng Shui could help you find the love you are searching for.
If you don’t have these items in your relationship corner now you might want to add them very soon.
Pink Stuff
In Feng Shui pink symbolizes love. Pink stuff can help hold love energy for you. Think pink when decorating your bedroom. Anything pink is good whether it be big or small. If pink is not your color, try red instead. Red is also associated with love. Go wild!
Space
The energy of love must have room so creating space is the first thing you must do. Clean out the medicine cabinet, a drawer or two, part of the closet, a shelf in the bookcase. Put whatever you want in your nightstand but leave the other one on the other side of the bed empty. Or as an added touch, leave something there that you think your lover (or future lover) would be pleased with.
Matching Pairs
Do away with your single things and replace them with matching pairs of items, such as a set of lovebirds, a set of figurines (mandarin ducks are a good bet but whatever appeals to you is fine, just make sure it’s two), a couple of candlesticks, two hearts, matching vases, etc. The point is that you have pairs, not singles.
Round Mirrors (and/or rounded items)
Mirrors reflect good energy and that’s important. Round mirrors are the best choice. Round shaped items are a good bet for your purposes. Curvy stuff mimics the human form and that makes it appropriate (and helpful) to have in the relationship area of your home.
Candles
They create heat; they are eye catching; they’re romantic and some come in very pleasant scents. Not to mention the fact that most people are very sexy looking by candlelight. To make it even steamier, try two pink or two red candles sitting side by side, one for each of you. Just wait for the sparks to fly!
Symbols of Sensuality
What is sensual? That’s easy. Massage oils, chocolate, candles, champagne, soft music, perfume dabbed in all the right places, nice sheets (especially silk), lingerie, and a robe that feels good against your skin. These items can help bolster your confidence that you can handle the energy (and the opportunities) once they come your way. The five senses are the root of true sensuality. Make sure you have indulged all of yours.
Flowers (especially peonies)
Roses and other flowers would be very fitting in the relationship area, in particular peonies. To the Chinese peonies have always symbolized fidelity and marriage. Arrangements of this pretty flower are ideal for displaying in your bedroom or in the hall outside your room to ensure you will find a good partner. If you are in a committed relationship already, peonies can still be beneficial, but take care and place them in your living room, not your bedroom.
Your Own Personal Symbols of Love and Romantic Possibility
What signifies love and romance in your mind? Whatever it is it should find a home in your relationship corner. Flowers, cupids, romantic photos of the two of you (or other couples such as close friends), even romantic pictures cut out of magazines (why not?), your favorite love stories, movies, music, a heart shaped candy dish, a heart pillow (or anything with hearts!), chocolate, pictures of a beach in Hawaii, a sunset, etc. Whatever suits your fancy. This area is all about love!
