Ten Great Ways to Show off Your Kid’s Art

by Jami Cameron July 22, 2005

Book covers.

Use your kid’s artwork to cover their school textbooks. They will be the only ones at school with such a unique creation, and the books will be protected for the year.

Bookmarks.

Use a ruler and draw a straight line about 2 inches from the edge of your child’s painting – repeat until you are at the end of the painting. Then, laminate the artwork and cut on the line. You now have several bookmarks that anyone in the family can use.

Lampshade fever.

Find a cheap or used lampshade, get some Modge Podge and grab several pictures. Modge Podge the artwork all over the outer side of the lampshade and let dry. This can spice up any room – it’s perfect for a kid’s room, den or office.
