The old adage, ‘You are what you eat’ is so true. The condition of your hair depends on the quality of nutrients you take in on a regular basis. For healthy looking hair, make sure you’re eating plenty of protein (meat, fish, poultry and cheese), vitamin A (eggs, milk, carrots, tomatoes, green leafy vegetables), vitamin B complex (wholegrain cereals, soy beans), and vitamin C (citrus fruits and avocados). Keep in mind that hair is three times weaker when it’s wet so treat it with lots of TLC.
