Tee Time! Golf Courses in Las Vegas, Nevada

by Gordon H. Reed III June 21, 2005

Paiute Golf Club

10325 Nu-Wav Kav Boulevard Las Vegas, Nevada 89124

Paiute has three courses, all designed by legendary course designer Pete Dye; Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain, and Wolf. The newest course, Wolf, is noted for its frequent elevation changes, with several mounds and slopes throughout the course. Sun Mountain is known for the challenge it provides veterans and newcomers alike, with its array of pot bunkers, native landscapes, and water hazards. Snow Mountain is considered to be a world class course, and is ranked as the #1 course in all of Las Vegas by Golf Digest magazine.

Red Rock Golf Club - Arroyo Course

2250 C Red Springs Drive Las Vegas, Nevada 89135

Arroyo is the latest Arnold Palmer-designed course to open in the Las Vegas area, and is the only Red Rock course open to the public. The course is seemlessly integrated within the landscape of Las Vegas's renowned Red Rock Canyon. A perfect blend of visually stunning scenery and a challenging golf course.

Rhodes Ranch Golf Club

20 Rhodes Ranch Parkway Las Vegas, Nevada 89113

A Ted Robinson design, this course's heavy vegitation (featuring over 3,000 palm trees) gives it a tropical feel. Rhodes Ranch was designed to give golfers of all skill levels an exciting and memorable golfing experience.

Royal Links Golf Club

5995 E. Vegas Valley Las Vegas, Nevada 89122

Royal Links was designed to give the golfer a full, Links-style, Scottish golfing experience. Holes throughout the course were "inspired" by famous holes at courses in the British Open rotation, such as St. Andrews and Troon. Further hammering home the British Open theme, many holes feature monuments indicating great moments in British Open history. And keeping with the Scottish design and feel, the clubhouse is designed in an impressive castle style. Forecaddies are required to accompany your party.
