And How is the New Testament Divided?

  • The first four books of the New Testament are called the Gospels and include the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
  • The History of the Church is covered in The Acts.
  • The Letters of Paul is what the next books cover. They are the books of Romans, I and II Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, I and II Thessalonians, I and II Timothy, Titus, and Philemon.
  • Hebrews, James, I and II Peter, I, II, and III John, and Jude are the "Letters to the Church."
  • The last book of the Bible is the Prophecy section, Revelation.

  • The Bible was originally written in three languages: Aramaic, a certain kind of Greek, and Hebrew.
