You don’t get a discount for using Disney Dollars, but you can use them to save money. Several months before you travel to Disney World or Land, put aside some money from your paycheck each week and buy Disney Dollars (you can get them at your local Disney Store). If you are scraping the money together to finance your vacation, you will appreciate having a source of money that is very difficult to spend before you leave. If you try to save some spending money in US dollars, there is a good chance that you will spend some of it before you leave. In this sense, using Disney Dollars could save you a great deal of money. If you do decide to buy Disney Dollars, make sure to save the receipts. That way you can exchange the money for cash if you absolutely have to.
