Buffalo Bill Buffalo Bill (February 26, 1846 – January 10, 1917) was born William Frederick Cody in the American state of Iowa, near Le Claire . He was one of the most colorful figures of the Old West, and was perhaps a bit misunderstood.

Buffalo Bills (Barbershop Quartet) The Buffalo Bills were a barbershop quartet formed in Buffalo, New York. In 1950, they won the SPEBSQSA International Quartet Contest, earning them the title of International Quartet Champions. The group is especially famous for its involvement in Meredith Willson's The Music Man. They were the first quartet in the role of the school board, logging more than 1,500 performances on Broadway. They also appeared as the quartet in the 1962 feature film adaptation. Their final performance in 1967 capped a career of more than 4,500 performances.
Buffalo Bill Historical Center A complex of museums displaying artifacts and art of the American west located in Cody, Wyoming. The museums include the Buffalo Bill Museum, which features general western articles and historical items, the Plains Indians Museum featuring exhibits related to the culture and people of Wyoming's Native American tribes, and the Whitney Gallery of Western Art, featuring paintings and sculptures having to do with the theme of the American west. A firearms museum contains guns and other weapons dating as far back as the pre-colonial era, all the way up to the modern military. The most recent addition to the Historical Center is a natural history museum.
