First Aid First aid is a series of simple, life-saving medical techniques that a non-doctor or layman can be trained to perform. If you need to perform first aid, see Emergency Action Principles.
First aid is normally performed in medical emergencies, before the intervention of emergency medical technicians or doctors. Supplies useful in giving first aid are often kept together in a first aid kit.
Wilderness First Aid Wilderness first aid is the provision of first aid (q.v.) under conditions where the arrival of emergency responders or the evacuation of an injured person may be delayed due to constraints of terrain, weather, and available equipment. It may be necessary to care for an injured person for several hours or days.
First Aid Kit A first aid kit is a collection of supplies and equipment for use in giving first aid, particularly in an emergency. Most first aid kits contain bandages for controlling bleeding, personal protective equipment such as gloves and a barrier for performing rescue breathing and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and sometimes instructions on how to perform first aid.

Oxygen First Aid Oxygen first aid or oxygen administration is a first aid treatment for many medical emergencies involving the organs of respiration and circulation such as heart attack, drowning, carbon monoxide poisoning, decompression illness, lung barotrauma and gas embolism. Administration of oxygen is also helpful in multiple trauma patients, unresponsive patients of unknown history, and diabetic emergencies.
First Aid Nursing Yeomanry The First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal's Volunteer Corps) (FANY(PRVC) - pronounced Fanny) is a British independent all-female unit and registered charity affiliated to, but not part of, the Territorial Army. It was formed as the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry in 1907 as a first aid link between the field hospitals and the front lines, and was given the yeomanry title as all its members were originally mounted on horseback. In the Second World War, the FANY formed the initial driver companies of the Auxiliary Territoral Service, as well as serving as a parent unit for many females that undertook espionage work for the Special Operations Executive. Three of these were awarded the George Cross for their service. Since the end of the war, the corps now specialises in communications for the Army and the City of London Police. Corps members are trained in radio communications, paramedical skills, map reading, navigation and orienteering, shooting, self defence and survival techniques, advanced driving and casualty bureau documentation. On formal occasions they still wear a uniform similar to that worn by the Auxiliary Territorial Service in the Second World War (although their working dress is similar to that of the modern British Army). They also have their own rank system.
First Aid (World Of Warcraft) First Aid consists of the creation of bandages from cloth found on humanoid mobs around the world. The different cloths go in the order of linen, silk, mageweave, and rune cloth. These can be turned into either a regular bandage, such as a mageweave bandage, or a heavy bandage, such as a heavy mageweave bandage. These bandages are a channeling ability that is interrupted when the player using it or player being healed is attacked. The person being healed by the bandage is afflicted with a 60 second debuff that prevents another bandage from being used. These bandages are useful in raids for getting non essential classes, like rogues, back to full health without using a healer's mana. They are useful in duels and are not considered taboo. Overall, first aid is fairly easy to level and the benefits make it well worth it.
