NASA TV NASA TV (originally NASA Select) is the television network of the U.S. space agency, NASA. NASA TV is broadcast by satellite, and also simulcast over the Internet. Many local cable television systems across the country carry the channel, as do some amateur television repeaters like N4NFP. The station provides a large amount of educational programming, and also covers NASA space launches and missions (such as the space shuttle) live. The channel is set to cease analog TV transmissions via satellite on July 1, 2005, though it should still be available on many analog cable TV systems. The satellite link uses the DVB system for data transmission.
