Six Flags Six Flags is a chain of amusement parks and theme parks run under the New York Stock Exchange index PKS. Their spokesperson, Mr. Six, is featured in many advertisements. There are 40 parks run by Six Flags, 24 of which carry the Six Flags name. The first Six Flags amusement park was built halfway between the cities of Fort Worth and Dallas at Arlington in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The park took its name from the six flags that have flown over the state of Texas during its history (Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the United States and the Confederate States of America).
Six Flags Great Adventure Six Flags Great Adventure is an amusement park in Jackson Township, New Jersey, not far from the Garden State Parkway, consisting of a theme park area, a Wild Safari area, and a water park called Hurricane Harbor. Well known for its roller coasters with brilliant and colorful tracks, such as Nitro, Medusa, The Great American Scream Machine, Batman and Robin: The Chiller, Batman: The Ride (not to be confused with the Chiller), and Superman, Six Flags Great Adventure tends to get crowded on nice days, with long lines for tickets, entry, and the newer (and more heavily advertised) rides. Six Flags Great Adventure has more rides than any other theme park in the world, according to the Guiness Book of World Records.
Six Flags Astroworld Six Flags Astroworld is a theme park that is part of the Six Flags chain. It is adjacent to the 610 Loop in Houston, Texas. It was the fourth park to be included in the Six Flags family of amusement parks. It was also the first park to be purchased by Six Flags instead of being built, however, to this day, Six Flags has not built a new theme park in the United States since the opening of Six Flags Mid-America (now known as Six Flags St. Louis) in 1971.

Six Flags America Six Flags America, located in Largo, Maryland, is an amusement park originally opened as a water park in 1981 with the name Wild World (supposedly because it was founded by Jim Fowler, the assistant on Wild Kingdom). It featured a number of waterslides and a wave pool, with just a couple of dry rides - a ferris wheel, giant swings, teacups, and the like. When Boston's Paragon Park closed in 1985, the Giant Coaster - which had operated there since 1917 - was moved to Wild World, where it was renamed the Wild One and began service in 1986.

The park was formed in 2001 when Six Flags purchased SeaWorld of Ohio and connected it to Six Flags Ohio (the renamed old Geauga Lake park). The park was unique in that Six Flags chose to integrate both parks into a single ticket admission.

Six Flags New England Six Flags New England, or SFNE, is an amusement park in the Six Flags chain of parks, named for the New England region in which it is located. Six Flags New England is located in Agawam, Massachusetts, near Springfield, Massachusetts. It is so close to the state border that some of the park is actually in the state of Connecticut. Like most other Six Flags parks, Six Flags New England is divided into two sections: the amusement park, which includes major attractions such as "Superman: The Ride of Steel", "Mind Eraser" and "Batman: The Dark Knight", and the water park, which doubled its size for the 2002 season. For the year 2005 season, the park is introducing two new rides: the roller coaster "Mr. Six's Pandemonium" and a water coaster named "Typhoon".
