Disney'S Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is a tropically themed waterpark, and is Disney's second waterpark after River Country (currently closed). It has many different water rides, including a lazy river and a chance to swim with sharks. Legend has it that a huge typhoon came through and blowing around small boats and eventually landing a shrimping boats on the top of a small peak nearby. It was later opened as a water park for all to enjoy. Every hour, water blows from the shrimping boat to mark when the waves will start in the wave pool.
